End of Life Planning
In this LibGuide (created as part of 60601 Information Sources and Reference Services), I curated and organized high-quality resources for individuals and families navigating the challenges of preparing for the end of life. While the subject has the potential to be depressing, I approached it from a position of empowerment. With the benefit of information, families can design a good life to the very end.
Dementia
In the following LibGuide (created as part of 60616 The Special Library), I presented resources for communities striving to support dementia patients and their caregivers. Curating this collection required thorough research into not only the challenges of memory loss, but also the perspective of community organizations.
"...a professional-level deliverable. When I saw your topic, I realized that I had instinctively steeled myself emotionally to be depressed by your findings. Yet after reading through your resources, I actually felt encouraged and empowered. I felt that if my family were to need to deal with dementia, I’d be ready to do so with a level of confidence and knowledge. What a gift you’ve created here."
